Shakti Shalini is a Delhi-based NGO founded in 1987 that works for gender equality. Shakti Shalini responds to sexual and gender-based violence (SGBV) through support services for survivors of violence and their children, working with marginalised communities to prevent violence, media outreach for gender equality, and a mentorship program.
Job Status and Type: Hybrid, Full Time, 5 Days per Week, 40 Hours per Week, 9-5/ 10-6/ 11-7 timings as per preference.

Job Location: Jangpura, New Delhi
Job Remuneration: Rs. 50,000 per month
Reporting: Reports to the Core Lead and Operations Lead

Title of the Research: Security and Wellness of Frontline Workers: An Initiative of the Solidarity Network by Shakti Shalini

- Understand the vision and mission of Shakti Shalini.
- Understand the scope, focus, vision, and purpose of the research project.
- Create whatsapp updates and summaries of the research project to introduce to The Solidarity Network
- Coordinate with and mobilise The Solidarity Network to host a small consultation for creating the survey tool for the research
- Create the survey tool for the research incorporating all inputs
- Translate the survey tool into Hindi
- Disseminate the survey tool amongst The Solidarity Network members
- Collect data and provide regular follow-ups, nudges, and reminders for data collection
- Collate, clean-up, and analyse all data collected
- Prepare and interim report with all the data collected
- Organise a public consultation on the interim report for the entire Solidarity Network and other partners of Shakti Shalini
- Handle all event management and even logistics and coordination for the public consultation
- Present the interim report at the public consultation to the audience
- Prepare the final report incorporating all suggestions that come up during the public consultation
- Translate the final report into Hindi
- Work with the media team to disseminate the final report on social media, to journalists, and other media platforms
- Submit a monthly update to the Core Lead and Operations Lead
- Maintain a sensitive, engaging, polite approach toward all stakeholders and partners of Shakti Shalini so that the organisation is well represented
- Handle all material, stationery, and equipment with care and responsibility.
- Follow the accounts and administrative processes of the organisation.
- Work in close coordination with the concerned teams within the organisation.
- Work in careful synchronisation with the protocols, guidelines, ethics and policies governing the organisation.
- If time permits, participate in team and pan-organisation activities/ meetings/ trainings/events.

Qualitative and quantitative research skills including creation of tools, data analysis, report writing

Basic translation skills to be applied with the help of AI

Good computer skills including google docs, google forms, google sheets, google drive, mails, and if possible, canva.

Good English speaking, writing, reading, comprehending skills.

Basic Hindi speaking, writing, reading, comprehending skills.

Strong communication, inter-personal, relational, and coordination skills
- Some experience in organising and managing public events for 100-150 people

Eligibility:
Education: Must have a postgraduate degree in a related field, and 3-4 years of work experience. Diverse experience is welcome, but training and experience in qualitative and quantitative research is essential.
