- Salary: Rs. 38,000/ month for the probation period of first six months. Rs. 40,000/ month if offered a permanent employment through a performance review at the conclusion of the probation period.

Reporting: Will report to Operations Lead and work in close guidance of Interventionist, Prevention of Gender/ Sexual Violence.
- Understand the vision and mission of Shakti Shalini to work toward gender equality and, specially, to prevent gender/ sexual violence as well as, specifically, the role of the Skills Development Centre in prevention of gender/ sexual violence.
- Creatively and effectively ensure that every class at the Skills Development Centre, in its curriculum, design, and classroom conduct, merges vocational/ educational skills training with feminist action, gender sensitisation, rights and freedom based awareness, and solidarity building.
- Coordinate and lead a core team of four full-time team members (three trainers and one educator), and the additional team of interns, volunteers, student groups, and partnering organisations, that are together conducting the various classes of the centre.
- Make sure that the full team is led with good coordination, attention to detail, problem-solving, careful planning, organisation, and time-management, as well as sensitivity, kindness, and encouragement.
- Treat all participants, colleagues, and persons present in the space with utmost sensitivity, care, and respect in language, tone, expression, and behaviour, ensuring at all times a non-judgmental, non-discriminatory, democratic approach that demonstrates gender sensitivity, inclusivity, and kind and well-regulated leadership.
- Plan and conduct four sensitisation and awareness sessions in a month with the participants of the skills development centre. This could cut across topics of gender, sex, sexuality, abuse and violence, health and wellness, rights and freedoms, intersectionality and identity, and related topics.
- Manage the day-to-day functioning of the centre such as ensuring that activities are well-scheduled, are running on time, and meeting logistical concerns.
- Ensure that all qualitative and quantitative documentation of trainers and educators is up-to-date and of good quality, and collate and compile the same regularly.
- Ensure quarterly and annual reports are submitted to the organisation for the project and that they are creative in representation of data.
- Implement monitoring and evaluation systems of the project.
- The skills development centre works in close synchronisation with other projects and programs of the organisation, which requires inter-project communication and coordination. Ensure this is done consistently and efficiently.
- Facilitate the administrative and financial needs of the project in a team-work spirit. This includes working with the finance department of the organisation to procure any financial resources as per the advance claim and reimbursement processes. Similarly, inform the administration department regarding stationery, material, printing, repair, maintenance, and infrastructural or resource purchase needs of the project.
- Provide mentorship to interns and volunteers who wish to work at the centre as per available capacity.
- Ensure regular updates of the project to the organisation’s media team for content creation, newsletters, media outreach.
- Represent the organisation, particularly the skills development centre, at relevant public platforms and partnering organisations.
- Search for additional partnerships, opportunities, and resources to intensify and expand the work and vision of the skills development centre, and integrate them into the project.
- Participate in full-team and project specific capacity buildings and trainings that are offered by the organisation to upgrade skills and knowledge.
- Participate in all pan-organisation meetings and annual events.
- Good English reading, writing, speaking, and comprehension.
- Good Hindi reading, writing, speaking, and comprehension.

Eligibility:
- Academic: The candidate must have a postgraduate degree in social work/ gender studies allied subject.
- Work experience: Must have a minimum of 2-3 years of full time work experience.
