- Job Status: Full Time, Monday to Friday, (10:00am-6:00pm)

- Job Remuneration: Rs. 35,000/ month.
- Job Duration: On contractual basis for 11 months (with the possibility of an extension). Probation period of first three months.
- Reporting: Reports to the Operations Lead and Core Lead

- Shakti Shalini’s management consists of three members – Honorary Secretary, Operations Lead, and Core Lead. Together the management oversees all projects and programs of the organisation, accounts and administration, fundraising and public relations.
- Shakti Shalini’s Mentorship Program, which is conducted by the management itself, engages people with the organisation in the capacity of interns, volunteers, researchers, fellows, and youth groups. It provides individualised and personalised mentorship to people so that they may be agents of change for gender equality with the skills and capacities to make impact.
- Compiling feminist and intersectional reading lists in Hindi and English for the Mentorships program and the organisation as a whole.
- Creating and maintaining documentation systems for quantitative and qualitative data for the Mentorships program.
- Creating project and program-wise collaterals for fundraising and partnership-building.
- Setting up and updating the profile of the organisation on various online platforms for greater visibility and resource mobilisation.
- Proofreading documents that are externally shared for the organisation.
- Supporting the management in creating annual reports for the organisation.
- Preparing certificates and LoRs for graduating mentees of the Mentorships program.
- Supporting the management in updating and proofreading organisation policies.
- Supporting the management in carrying out research on topics essential for the growth of the management.
- Supporting the management in carrying out day-to-day tasks of printing, filing, documenting, and data management.
- Supporting the management in preserving and categorising archival material of the organisation.
- Supporting the management in managing various logistics during partnership meetings, trainings, and organisational events.
- Putting together a monitoring and feedback system to understand the experience and growth of mentees.
- Supporting the management in creating a workspace for the team that is motivating and fulfilling.
- To work closely with the management at the first level, as well as the extended team as required.
- To attend all pan-organisation meetings, events, and trainings.
- Excellent English reading, writing, speaking, and comprehension.
- Good Hindi reading, writing, speaking, and comprehension.
- Strong critical analysis skills that reflect knowledge of gender, sex, sexuality, violence, abuse, discrimination, healthy, safety, rights, freedoms, and intersectionality.
- The flexibility and humility to do different types of tasks, from the very banal to the very creative, as required to build and nurture an organisation.
- A comfort with basic technology such as working on phone, laptop, word, excel. Some familiarity with Canva would be preferred.

- Self-reflexive, and open to learn and receive critical feedback.
- Academic: The candidate must have a postgraduate degree. An educational background in subjects such as Gender Studies, Sociology, Literature, Social Work or an allied subject is preferred.
- Work experience: Must have a minimum of 1 year of full time work experience.
